Join the American Harp Society Greater Seattle Chapter and be a part of a vibrant community of 125+ other harpists. We hold two general meetings a year, and organize multiple events that encourage education, community, and performance opportunities. As a member, you receive the following benefits:
A digital copy of Resonance, our Chapter’s monthly newsletter with information on local harp events, community news, and our classified section with harps for sale and rent.
Access to participate in our Auditions (Adjudications) and Evaluations where you receive feedback from a panel of professional harpists to improve your performance repertoire.
Free and/or low-cost access to workshops, masterclasses, or performances by visiting harpists who are sponsored by our Chapter.
A printed directory of all our current members so you can search for teachers, professionals, or technicians if you are in need of finding one in our area.
Eligibility to list yourself in the Teacher or For Hire sections on our Chapter website.
Eligibility to apply for our local Chapter scholarship, or National AHS scholarships like the Chapter Ambassador Awards to support your continued development as a harpist.
The American Harp Society Greater Seattle Chapter is a not-for-profit organization. Your membership dues help support our scholarships so other developing harpists in need are able to afford lessons, harp instrument rentals, music purchases, or access to competition and/or American Harp Society endorsed events.
If you need an alternative to completing your membership online, mail a completed membership form and check payment made out to AHS-Greater Seattle. Send to our membership coordinator, Patti Warden, for processing:
